PineCrone as we knew and loved it is no more. The earth has reclaimed it and the fire has transformed it. While we sob with grief and loss, we are also renewed and inspired by thoughts of the seeds of grasses and wildflowers to be sown and of tree seedlings to be planted. The land is alive and full of magic. The fire ring remains. The labyrinth remains. The stone Virgin Mary remains.

Austin RCG is honoring its commitment to this land and to Jeanmarie for the next year, although this commitment of necessity must change. We will need many minds and many hands to help. Much is uncertain at this time; much has to be coordinated. Austin RCG will be posting information about meetings, volunteer opportunities within Austin RCG as well as requests for other community groups and individuals to be involved. As we have practical, tangible information available, we will share.

Volunteers are needed ...
Austin RCG needs volunteers interested in assisting with clean-up and land restoration of PineCrone Retreat Center. If you are interested in either project, please send an email to pinecronerc@gmail.com with your name, phone number and whether you are interested in clean-up or land restoration. You will be contacted with information about volunteer opportunities. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
